“Great cabin near Shenandoah National Park”
We recently stayed at Treetop Escape,
managed by Woodruff Inns of Luray, Virginia on our visit to Shenendoah National Park. The cabin is very close to the Shenandoah River and about 9 miles from the Park. It is about 4 miles from the town of Luray and hard to find the first time. Plan to arrive during the daylight hours! The cabin sleeps 4, with 2 bedrooms and a loft with a cot that could accommodate one additional person if necessary. Sheets and towels are provided but no soap! Although we did not use them there are 3 gas fire places. The kitchen has very nice stainless appliances. Take all of your own food, including salt and pepper if you plan on cooking. There are plenty dishes, utensils and pots and pans. We enjoyed our stay here and would return if in the area.
